What is Havens Plus?
Havens Plus is our charity shop loyalty program where customers earn points with every purchase. These points can be redeemed for discounts on future transactions.
How do I sign up?
Signing up is quick, easy and free. You can join by visiting any of our charity shops and requesting to join Havens Plus at the till. Our friendly staff will help you register and explain how you can start earning points.
How do I earn points?
You earn 10 points for every pound you spend in our charity shops. Simply show your loyalty card at the time of purchase for our staff to scan, and you’ll accumulate points.
Is the card valid at all Havens Hospices charity shops?
The loyalty card is accepted in most of our stores, including Re:loved and outlet shops. Our Reuse store at Stock Road Recycling Centre and pop-up events are excluded.
How do I report a lost, stolen or damaged card?
If you lose your loyalty card, please visit one of our shops and speak with a staff member. We will assist in transferring your points to a new card.
Is there a limit to the number of points I can collect?
There is no limit to the number of points you can earn. The more you shop, the more points you accumulate and the bigger the discount!
Do my points expire?
Points remain valid until spent so you can save towards a big shop or use them as part payment any time you like.
How do I find out my points balance?
You can check your points balance by asking our staff during your next visit. They’ll also be displayed on your receipt. If you have signed up to our mailing list, we’ll update you on your balance that way, too.
How do I spend my points in-store?
Simply present your Loyalty Card at the checkout and inform the cashier that you’d like to use your points towards your purchase.
Can I share my points with friends and family?
Havens Plus is intended for individual use. Points are non-transferable and can only be redeemed by the cardholder.
Are points redeemable online?
You can only earn and redeem loyalty points on purchases made in-store. Our online store is exempt from the loyalty card program.
How do I change my personal details?
To update your personal information, please visit our shop and speak with a member of the team. Alternatively, you can get in touch at HavensPlus@havenshospices.org.uk
What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a scheme available to charities that enables them to claim extra money from HMRC. Havens Hospices can claim an extra 25p for every pound you donate if you pay the basic rate of tax.
That means Gift Aid can increase the value of your donated goods by 25%, so you can give even more to support our specialist care.
It doesn’t cost you a penny, and all you need to do is complete a short online form to register. Ask a member of staff for more information and help you join.
I’m not eligible for Gift Aid, can I still use my loyalty card?
Yes, you can use your card to add Gift Aid to your donations, to earn loyalty points or both.
I’m already signed up for Gift Aid. How do I join Havens Plus?
If you already have one of our Gift Aid fobs, you can opt into our loyalty card program at any time to start earning points. Simply speak with a member of staff in-store who can help support you.
